Ghosts of the Dugs 45

Ghosts of the Dugs 45

I really, really don’t know where I stand on the steroids ‘debate’ because I’m not even sure what the debate is. Baseball didn’t test for them back in the 90′s. But they were still against the rules, right? Ben Johnson’s olympic winning time in 1988 was proven to be steroid assisted, so it was disqualified. I don’t really see the difference.

Somehow we seem to be saying ‘well, everyone did it so what’s the harm?’ which makes no sense to me. First, we don’t know that ‘everyone’ did it, and second, if everyone breaks the rules, they’re still cheating!

I’d throw out all the records. Simple as that. Did they cheat? Yes. So again I ask, where’s the debate?
